We are pleased to announce that the Call for Papers for the ALAA Conference 2023 is now open. Proposals for papers, colloquia, and posters can be submitted on this page. The Applied Linguistics landscape has experienced rapid changes these last few years amidst social, political, educational, and environmental challenges.This year's conference theme is Resilience, Creativity, and Responsibility in Applied Linguistics. Focusing on these topics affords our speakers the space to discuss how our field can respond effectively to the challenges around us, looking towards future opportunities in local and global contexts. We look forward to welcoming you in Wollongong in November 2023!

25-minute presentation plus 5-minute discussion
Poster Presentations:
Alternative for those who prefer smaller audiences, more interaction. Popular with novice presenters and HDR students
