Temporal dynamics and cognitive mechanisms of language productionQingqing QuInstitute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (China)
Language production involves complex processes that unfold over time. A critical question in understanding how the brain produces language concerns when these cognitive processes are computed and how they are connected with each other. In this talk, I will present our relevant work which is focused on investigating the time course of cognitive processes underlying language production and examining cognitive mechanisms of how these processes work. Our research has utilised various methodological approaches, including ERPs, eye-tracking, behavioural measurements and computational modelling.
